I’ve spent some time meeting with, writing about, and posting other businesswomen and what inspires them… and luckily for me, you’ve spent some time reading it. (Thank you!)

I thought today I'd change it up a bit and let you in on some things about me!

My entire life I’ve always known that I was/am meant to do “more.” It’s as if I was just born with that feeling that working a 9 to 5 and climbing that corporate ladder is not all I’m meant to do in this life. Life IS so much bigger than that. Let me be clear: WORKING A TRADITIONAL JOB IS NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF. IT’S HONORABLE, REALLY. However, for me, it’s just not enough to fulfill me for the rest of my earthly life.

Because of this unrelenting “feeling” I’ve started (and stopped) many, many things throughout my life. If I wasn’t happy, or it wasn’t getting the results I expected very quickly, I just moved on.

I believe I’ve finally figured out why I’ve always done that! I was not doing what is meant for me and MY journey. Therefore, I was simply filling my time, but not fulfilling my being.

Love you. Love me.™ (LYLM™) is, as I always say, my very own passion project. I began calling it my “passion project” because it truly, and simply IS. I’ve never been happier than I am right now, and since I started this project. I get to meet spectacular people, write, inspire, and be inspired.

It sounds so simple, and IT IS.

I don’t want to make it sound like I just knew I was going to do this and just ran with it… I wasn’t always SO loud and proud about Love you. Love me. ™

I started LYLM™ so quietly, and meekly. I was so excited and happy about it… but I really thought those close to me might not understand my “why.” As it is not something I am doing to make money.

I (ignorantly) thought most people would not understand that Love you. Love me.™ is something I am doing for myself (and all you business babes) that is so much more to me than adding to my bank account. To me, LYLM™ is MY project; it’s OUR project. To me, it’s my way of giving back (as I’ve been so blessed), and my way to gain knowledge, enlightenment, and inspiration from others. To me, that is priceless.

BTW, I couldn’t have been more wrong about the support I’d receive after I told people, and ultimately launched LYLM™. Those close to me (and even those I just met) have been nothing short of supportive. It is humbling, really.

My advice is to find that thing that you are truly passionate about. Whether it’s the next big thing, or just YOUR NEXT BIG THING, is neither here nor there. You will feel “richer” doing what you are a passionate about. You may still have to keep that 9 to 5 (like me) to keep your passion going, but you owe it to yourself to do whatever it is you’ve been sitting on.

Your Take Action Cue

I’d make a promise if I didn’t risk legal repercussions for that (LOL)… BUT, Ladies, if you seek out what lights your fire; the money, the blessings, will all come along with it. You’ll have to work 1,000,000 times harder, but it won’t even feel like “work.”
