“Building a brand means knowing your story and building and sharing that story”
—Tamara McCleary
In place of the normal “Makeover Your Mindset Monday” posts, I thought I’d share a little about branding and (hopefully) get you all thinking about yours!
It’s paramount to remember that you’re not just selling something, you’re selling YOU and you’re selling YOUR STORY.
Your brand must have a story behind it, and you must know your story. More importantly than having a brand and knowing its story is knowing HOW TO TELL YOUR STORY.
When we are good story tellers, people become good listeners. They listen and become interested in you and your products/services, and what you have to offer them.
Things to think about today:
· What is your story?
· Does your brand reflect your story?
· How do you tell your story?
· What do you want your customers to take from your story?
If you find yourself unsure of the answers to these questions, I recommend reading a book I found super helpful.
“Building a Story Brand” by Donald Miller

His book provides helpful insights and activities to help you tell your story and clarify your brand.
You can find it on Amazon, both in hard copy and audible versions.
I am not being paid to promote this book! I just truly found it very helpful… and I intend on using some of the takeaways from it. 😊

Happy Monday y’all!
