When my best friend decided during the Covid19 pandemic that she was going to jump ship from her 9 to 5 in the medical field and start her own business, I couldn't help but feel some panic for her.
I had so many questions. How would she make enough money to support her family? How would she have time to make enough product to sell while having to be a mother, a teacher, and as us women know all to well, EVERYTHING to everyone... especially during a pandemic?
I've never seen someone work so hard. She didn't let herself get bogged down in the "how's." She simply dove right in and just made it happen. She had faith. Most importantly, she believed in herself.
She put herself out there. Like, OUT THERE. She even called local radio stations and got air time. She promoted herself. She sold herself. I should probably add right here that she did all of this while planning her wedding!
Now that I've got my point across of just how proud I am to call her my best friend, and how amazing I think this babe is, let me tell you more about her business and exactly why you should give it a look!
"Made In Michigan With Love" is comprised of just about anything you can think of that has to do with the state of Michigan. It is not just products that relate to Michigan, but all products are handmade by residents of the Great Lakes State. Let me tell you, there are some TALENTED people in Michigan. Some of the things I see people make, the ideas they come up with, just fascinates me.
