When I first heard about Beverly and “Tranquility Cottage Soap” and looked at the Facebook page, to say I was “blown away” would be underplaying how I truly felt!

SOOOO. The first thing I have to say to start this article off is… TAKE A LOOK FOR YOURSELF: www.facebook.com/tranquilitycottagesoap

All my ranting and raving over the talent this woman possesses does not (and would not) do her (or her soaps) justice! I never knew soap could be such works of art!

My personal favorite from “Tranquility Cottage Soap” is this lilac soap featured on the Facebook page. Beverly is so clever, and relatable, as she reminisced about walking home from the bus stop as a child or visiting her grandmother and sniffing this recognizable smell of spring. Nothing short of an allergy to lilacs could stop anyone from wanting to have a sniff for themselves!

Beverly’s Story

After you’ve checked out “Tranquility Cottage Soap” Facebook (or Instagram) page it will come as no surprise to you that Beverly started making soaps over 20 years ago. She stopped making them for some time and started back up again in 2017 after some big life changes which included a move from Michigan to the hills of Tennessee. She was working part-time as a hairstylist at the time (she’s mostly retired from that now).

One night as Beverly laid in bed, she just could not get the thought of soap making out of her head and GOT UP OUT OF BED to get started making her glorious creations again!

After bringing some soaps to the hair salon she worked at, things just took off again. People started asking about her soaps, and Beverly created the Facebook page. Beverly credits her soap making abilities to God who gave her this passion AND the obvious talent for it!

Beverly is amazingly talented, there’s no denying it. (You can’t deny 5-star reviews!) In addition to crafting these lovely soaps, Beverly enjoys gardening, hunting, traveling, and being with her family and grandchildren (whom are still Michiganders!) With all these things keeping her busy, Beverly likes to look to nature any time she is feeling burnt out to get her “mojo” back!

Beverly’s faith in God and ties to nature are completely visible in her work. Just take a look at some of these:

Take Action Call

C’mon everyone. We all must shower (or bathe) anyway. So, enjoy it AND enhance the experience with some of these gorgeous soaps, all while supporting a woman in business.

PS - Edit/Addition

After speaking with Beverly again after the initial post, she mentioned that she also runs a VRBO! It amazes me how many business babes have more than one venture. Truly inspiring. Truly amazing. If you're ever on your way to Tennessee, check out her amazing home on VRBO:
